I presume that is all that matters and really, that is probably how any parent should review this collection of children’s songs. I mean, not many adults are going to `dig’ these tunes, so it all depends on the child’s reaction.

When my daughter heard DJ Lance’s footsteps come over the car stereo she screeched “YO GABBA GABBA” and grinned as wide as she could.

So, when sitting down to review this CD I decided to take that approach. What does my daughter LOVE about this album?

Well, I think it goes without saying that the songs sung by the Gabba bunch are the highlights here, at least for the kids. My daughter loves to sing along to nearly all of them. Her personal favorite is `Goodbye Song’, which she belts out like an opera singer. She also LOVES `Party in My Tummy’ (personally, one of my favorites) and she always dances in her car-seat to `I Like to Dance’ and `Go Crazy’. What is great about a lot of these songs is that they are educational too. `Try It, You’ll Like It’ and `Nice & Easy’ are two very good songs for children, as well as `Don’t Be Afraid’.

The Yo Dazzler’s track `You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ is one I wish my daughter would learn a little better.

I don’t really care what my daughter thinks, Biz Markie is just plain gross and I skip his track every time.

The album also has eight tracks sung by bands like The Shins and The Roots. A good deal of these are really good tracks. `Lovely, Love My Family’ is my favorite. My wife actually LOVES this song. I also like `Hey, Won’t Somebody Come and Play’ and `Bedtime Lullaby’. `Nice N Clean’ is funny and `Just Because It’s Different Doesn’t Mean Scary’ is nicely done. `Robo Dancing’ and `Brush Brush Brush’ are decent, and `It’s Okay, Try Again’ is the only one here that I just don’t like. Some are recognizable from the show (I’m sure they’ve all been featured, but some I haven’t heard) but they all are targeted at the right audience.

My daughter loves this CD from beginning to end.

If some songs from the show aren’t here and you’re wondering where you can find them, check out the first Music CD released from the show.

My 2 year old son really enjoys listening and dancing to this cd. I actually like the music by the other artists better than the characters music. This cd has a very retro feel which I like–I think it has something for everyone-kids and adults alike!Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Vocalize and Breath

We all have our personal favorite. This CD has most of my favorites. I wish it would have the song Happy by the Salteens. But overall, a good CD.

I bought this for my daughter who is almost 3 and a huge fan of Yo Gabba Gabba. She LOVES it. It’s the only CD she has listened to since we received it 2 weeks ago. A good mix of Gabba songs and some Indie band kid songs.

We used this CD for a Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday party (my 2 year old’s birthday party) and fun times were had by all. I was bummed that “Pool Party” by the Aquabats wasn’t on it, but it’s easy to download as well. The kids loved hearing songs from the show, and lots of dancing was done. It really helped set the environment for the party.
